I began my postal career as a MailHandler on February 1, 1997. I became a MailHandler Shop Steward 1999, became the Chief Shop Steward 2006-2016 and then became the Branch President Carol Stream P&DC currently on my second term. I’ve attended several advanced Shop Steward training sessions throughout the years. Trained in EEO and worked on many EEOC cases. I have represented MailHandlers who were discriminated against on many occasions, fought, and won numerous FMLA cases. Was an Arbitration assistant for Carol Stream on many cases, A joint steering committee member for the former QWL Process, Mail Handlers Benefit Health Insurance Plan Representative for 306 approximately 14 years at Carol Stream Plant and other facilities.
