Please find linked above a copy of a new Memorandum of Understanding regarding the suspension of the Temporary Additional Paid Leave for MHAs.
Due to the recent signing of the American Rescue Plan Act, MHAs may be granted up to 600 hours of paid Emergency Federal Employee Leave (EFEL) for COVID-19 reasons. Therefore effective with the signing of this MOU, the MOU: Re : Temporary Additional Paid Leave for MHAs will be suspended. If EFEL becomes unavailable to employees during the course of this MOU, the parties will discuss reinstating the MOU Re: Temporary Additional Paid Leave for MHAs.
This MOU will expire on June 4, 2021.
